This course will provide general knowledge about the growth and development of children from infancy to adolescence. It is important to fully understand the basic needs of children, in the care of childcare providers, in order to completely nurture positive development. This course has been created for that purpose.
Initial course is a 6 hours training.
Renewal course is a 3 hours training.
**Training is good for 3 years.
WHO WILL NEED TO TAKE THIS COURSE?
Individual and agency child care provider professionals will be required to take this course.
This course will instruct providers about addressing children with special needs, working with parents and families, nutrition, child care standards, activity and program planning, and techniques for managing the educational and personal development of children from diverse backgrounds.
